Mobile data: Stay connected no matter where you are.

Think about the holiday season just past, and your holiday travels. Did your experience bring to mind, “Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother’s house . . . tra la, tra la?” Or did you have a meltdown because you got snowed in at Terminal C and the number you needed for The Big Deal was back in the office?

Leadmaster-salesforce-SaaS-solutions-taking-crm-mobileDo you really need another reason to justify that upgrade to a CRM cloud solution?

You want up-to-date contact and sales information when you need it, wherever you are:

  • You don’t want to wait until you get back to the office
  • You don’t want to have to remember to sync up to the main database
  • You don’t want to fire up your laptop
  • You don’t want to have to call the office to get briefed on developments.
  • You want to have answers in hand when you speak with your prospect, or boss, or customer.

Sales reps and managers expect to have their sales data and leads available on their handheld devices. Period. It’s a perfectly reasonable expectation, but not every application does it perfectly. How data gets shared between mission control and a remote devise impacts the quality, timeliness, and reliability of the data.

SaaS solutions such as Salesforce.com, SugarCRM, and LeadMaster make it easy: There is nothing easier than clicking a shortcut on a browser on your smartphone and scrolling to your records to access real-time data. Sure, you could sync data from your local database to your handheld. Which works great if you remembered sync before you left the office.

There’s too much in life that we can’t avoid – like weather delays or Auntie Anne’s green bean casserole. If this past travel season left you feeling more like road kill than a road warrior, resolve to make this the year that technology works for you.
